Music Therapy
Music Therapy (MT) uses the power of music to help individuals reach their unique goals in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Guided by a licensed professional, board-certified music therapist, sessions are tailored to each person's needs, focusing on emotional, physical, social, and cognitive growth.
Through activities like music-making, listening, songwriting, and more, clients of all ages-children and adults alike-can explore, heal, and thrive. At Mixed Melody, we provide all the instruments and materials needed to create meaningful musical experiences.
You and your little one are the perfect duet! In this 30-minute class, designed for children ages 9 months to 5 years, we’ll explore music-making magic together. From singing and dancing to playing instruments, finger plays, and bouncy fun, every moment is filled with learning, laughter, and connection. Bond, grow, and giggle as we move to the music and discover the joy of WEE time. Don’t miss out, because... “You go, I go, WEE GO TOGETHER!”
Music Lessons
Ages 3 and up using a variety of instruments to learn basic music concepts or explore other avenues of music making. No need to pick a specific instrument!
Ages 5 and up with instruction centered around specific instrument of choice. Current instrument offerings include piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, and beginner band instruments!
Ages 3 and up using music therapist led learning to fit anyone's needs. Students can either pick a specific instrument, choose to explore various instruments, or other avenues of music making!
